3. The Challenge
The bathroom had a strict completion deadline due to upcoming filming, while other clients kindly agreed to move their projects back slightly. The shower area also had incorrect falls created by the screeding contractor, meaning the drainage needed to be corrected before any final finishes could be applied. In addition, the client’s father was completing parts of the renovation himself and needed clear guidance to keep the project moving in the right order.
4. The Solution
We reworked the shower falls to create the correct drainage towards the waste and prepared the area for a reliable microcement finish. The programme was carefully managed around the filming deadline, with work sequenced to avoid delays where possible. Throughout the project, we also guided the client’s father on preparation, finishing details and the correct order of works so his DIY contribution integrated properly with the professional installation.
5. The Results
The bathroom was completed in time for filming, with a clean, seamless microcement finish and a shower area that drained correctly. The project remained coordinated despite the tight programme, remedial work and multiple people involved in the renovation. The finished space delivered a practical, waterproof and refined result without compromising on the details.
